Material: Recycled Roof Slate, heavy leather cord for hanging. All my roof slates come from a house in Cambridge , near Harvard University that is over a hundred years old.
Original roof slates were manufactured by hand following a five step process: cutting, sculpting, splitting, trimming, and hole punching. Because of their age they may have slight imperfections, varying texture and markings that add to their beauty and make each one unique.
I hand select each slate and thoroughly clean and prepare them to meet my quality standards and become ready to paint. They are heavy and sturdy. Can be hung outdoors as well as indoors.

Approx. size- 10 inches X 12 inches, .25 inch thick slate or 8x10
Please keep in mind these slate roofing tiles are heavy, I try to keep my shipping costs as reasonable as possible.

This is an original artwork, signed by me, hand painted in professional grade acrylic paints.
The artwork has been sprayed with a waterproof protective varnish. Can be used outside or inside.
